Overview
AMEP students make up many hepatitis B endemic populations. LiverWELL conducts free hepatitis B education sessions for AMEP students to raise awareness about viral hepatitis and liver disease, and to promote health-seeking behaviour.
The Living Well With Hepatitis B Reader and Teacher’s Workbook includes four stories with different characters living with hepatitis B with the focus to help eliminate the stigma related to hepatitis B and provide necessary information. These stories raises awareness about hepatitis B in four different scenarios: cooking, pregnancy, marriage and relationships, and sports.
