The World Hepatitis Summit 2026

Event date
April 28, 2026 - April 30, 2026

The Ministry of Public Health of Thailand will host the World Hepatitis Summit 2026 in Bangkok from 28 to 30 April. This landmark event will bring together delegates, experts, partners and advocates from across the globe to accelerate action, strengthen partnerships and promote fair and inclusive strategies in the fight against hepatitis.

Held under the theme Elimination for Everyone, Everywhere, Right Now! the Summit is an important opportunity to share transformative solutions, exchange ideas and raise our collective voice toward achieving hepatitis elimination by 2030.

At LiverWELL, we know how vital global collaboration is in tackling viral hepatitis. Our work in Victoria is focused on eliminating hepatitis B and C, supporting people at risk or living with hepatitis, and amplifying the voices of those with lived experience. Through education, awareness campaigns, strong community partnerships, we are working every day to remove barriers to testing, treatment and care.

The World Hepatitis Summit is a powerful reminder that elimination is possible when governments, health services, researchers and communities come together. LiverWELL stands alongside our international partners in the shared mission to eliminate viral hepatitis and ensure liver health for all.

Stay tuned for more details about the Summit program and how these global discussions can help shape and strengthen our work here in Victoria.

We acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands where we work - the lands of the Woi-Wurrung Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We express our gratitude to them for their continued care and curation of these lands and waters. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.

LiverWELL observes and honours the Kulin Nation's intrinsic connection to land, sky and water, and the creator Bunjil. LiverWELL is committed to being led and informed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders on bridging health outcomes for communities and improving liver health.
