St John Ambulance is offering free first aid training for people living in the West of Melbourne, or with strong ties to the area.
The training specifically focuses on CPR responses, and you can attain accreditation for participation. Given the increasing rates of overdose, and the demographic most impacted being middle-aged people, it is a great opportunity to upskill
and keep our communities safe.
CPR classes are run every Tuesday morning at the West Sunshine Community Centre and every Friday afternoon at Visy Cares hub in Sunshine, which is just next door to the Sunshine Library.
We acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands where we work - the lands of the Woi-Wurrung Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We express our gratitude to them for their continued care and curation of these lands and waters. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
LiverWELL observes and honours the Kulin Nation's intrinsic connection to land, sky and water, and the creator Bunjil. LiverWELL is committed to being led and informed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders on bridging health outcomes for communities and improving liver health.
