Hepatitis B s100 Prescriber Course Scholarships

February 20, 2023 - February 20, 2023

Cancer Council Victoria is calling on Nurse Practitioners and General Practitioners who work in Moyne, Ballarat, East Gippsland, Wodonga and Mildura Rural City Local Government Areas to apply for a Hepatitis B s100 Prescriber Course Scholarship of $1500.

This advanced level training enables Victorian GPs and Nurse Practitioners to effectively diagnose, manage and treat chronic hepatitis B in primary care settings. Successful completion of the training and assessment accredits community-based medical practitioners to prescribe s100 highly specialised drugs for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B.

The course is delivered online and includes three, two hour live webinars, video modules and the successful completion of a short assignment and online assessment. Limited spaces are available so scholarships will be given on a first come first served basis.

If you’re interested in this scholarship opportunity, please contact Osman Osman, Community Engagement Specialist at Cancer Council Victoria at Osman.osman@cancervic.org.au by 20th February 2023.
