The LiverWELL Annual General Meeting 2025

October 26, 2025

Our 2025 Annual General Meeting brought together our Board, organisational members, key stakeholders, community representatives and health sector leaders. The event began with a Welcome to Country from Elder Uncle Andrew Gardiner, followed by Maria Marshall, our then President of the Board, who spoke about LiverWELL’s achievements over the past year.

Charissa Feng from Cancer Council delivered a powerful address on the importance of using our individual strengths and collective connections to influence positive change across the health sector. Treasurer Darren O’Connor-Price provided an update on our financial reports, and Jane Little shared her heartfelt lived experience story of living with and then receiving treatment for hepatitis C.

The AGM also included a warm farewell to Board Directors Jarwid Sayed and Shane Patella, while Interim CEO Paul Bowers reflected on the past year and his time with the organisation.

We were proud to launch our new Annual Report titled Our Collective Impact, celebrating the power of community collaboration in driving meaningful change. The event was concluded by announcing the winners for the LiverWELL Annual Recognition Awards.
