Raising Awareness at Wyndham Valley Health Festival

Over the weekend, the LiverWELL Health Promotion team had the pleasure of attending the inaugural Wyndham Health Festival—a vibrant community event celebrating health, wellbeing, and connection. The festival brought people together with one powerful goal: to raise $85,000 for lung function testing equipment for Werribee Mercy Hospital. The atmosphere was filled with energy, purpose, and community spirit, making it a fantastic opportunity to promote better health outcomes for all.

We had some great conversations with community members and local partners about the importance of liver health and being aware of viral hepatitis. It was inspiring to see so much genuine interest in taking steps toward better health and prevention. Events like this remind us just how powerful community action can be.
