Re-Designing our Youth Services

May 8, 2023

StreetShot is getting a makeover!

LiverWELL is completing a redesign of our free youth program ‘StreetShot’. By using the feedback and evaluations collected over the years, the Streetshot redesign allows young people to fully immerse themselves in learning about viral hepatitis, prevention and staying safe, through engaging activities and games. The redesign also challenges young people with thought provoking scenarios that encourage them to think about how to get help and identify stigma and discrimination. LiverWELL is capturing feedback, evaluation and perspectives consulted by young people so that the workshop can make a positive impact in raising awareness about hepatitis B and hepatitis C.

If you would like to be involved in assisting LiverWELL and making a positive contribution to increasing health education access surrounding viral hepatitis, please email alain@liverwell.org.au to get involved with the StreetShot Redesign and a free workshop.

We acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands where we work - the lands of the Woi-Wurrung Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We express our gratitude to them for their continued care and curation of these lands and waters. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.

LiverWELL observes and honours the Kulin Nation's intrinsic connection to land, sky and water, and the creator Bunjil. LiverWELL is committed to being led and informed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders on bridging health outcomes for communities and improving liver health.
