The latest meeting of the Victorian Viral Hepatitis Roundtable brought together many of the organisations working towards hepatitis B and C elimination in Victoria. As an informal coalition rooted in shared values and a collective commitment to better health outcomes, the Roundtable creates space for organisations to share their insights and experiences.
The conversation was lively from the outset. Participants shared program updates, exchanged data insights, and surfaced challenges seen across different parts of the system. A recurring thread, that kept surfacing in the discussion, was the ongoing challenges of linking people to care in a way that is trusted, accessible and sustainable.
It was an energising conversation, and several attendees commented on how valuable it was simply to be in the same room, and looking at some of the bid challenges together.
LiverWELL continues to provide in‑kind operational leadership for the Roundtable.
