Volunteer of the Month, September 2018

  • What inspired me to become a Hepatitis Victoria volunteer?

To contribute back to the community. I have an interest in public health and wanted to gain a better understanding of the organisation and services in which it provides.

  • My favorite Hepatitis Victoria sessions or moment

I do not have just one, I have many favourite moments because they are all so interesting. I have taken away so much learning from each one.

  • What tips do I have for new volunteers

Just get involved! Hepatitis Victoria a worthy organisation and you will find the staff and volunteers are so warm and passionate.

We acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands where we work - the lands of the Woi-Wurrung Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We express our gratitude to them for their continued care and curation of these lands and waters. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.

LiverWELL observes and honours the Kulin Nation's intrinsic connection to land, sky and water, and the creator Bunjil. LiverWELL is committed to being led and informed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders on bridging health outcomes for communities and improving liver health.
