We’re Hiring a New Community Engagement Officer

This role is part-time: 24 hours per week, 0.6 FTE.

Work with us to engage with individuals with lived experience of hepatitis and liver disease, their supporters, volunteers, and the broader community.

The Community Engagement Officer will play an integral part in LiverWELL’s commitment to build a response to liver health that is community-led and to work in collaboration with others who share the same vision. This role will engage with individuals with lived experience of hepatitis and liver disease, their supporters, volunteers, and the broader community.

This is an opportunity to combine your confident and articulate manner with a passion for improving outcomes for individuals living with a chronic health condition, and will include the following key responsibility areas:

  • Community participation, including public speakers, Hep Heroes and advocates, and health coaching
  • Volunteer engagement and recognition
  • Coordination of our intern program.
