LiverWELL is thrilled to announce two new opportunities to join our organisation, which is dedicated to improving liver health and viral hepatitis outcomes across Victoria and Australia.
Lived Experience Lead (Part-Time, .6 FTE)
We’re looking for someone who believes in the power of lived experience to oversee an iterative process to improve and enhance the perceptions and experiences of our partners, stakeholders, supporters and communities. This role will embed the voices of people with lived and living experience of viral hepatitis and liver disease into every aspect of LiverWELL’s work—from health promotion and advocacy to program design and delivery.
If you’re a relationship-builder with a strong commitment to inclusion and community engagement, we’d love to hear from you.
Health Promotion Manager (Full-Time)
Are you a strategic thinker and team leader ready to step into a dynamic, purpose-led environment? As our Health Promotion Manager, you’ll lead a talented team, manage impactful partnerships, and help drive systemic change in viral hepatitis and liver health advocacy.
This is a rare chance to combine leadership and innovation in a supportive and flexible workplace.
Why Work With Us?
For over 30 years LiverWELL (incorporating Hepatitis Victoria) has been the peak Victorian community-based organisation working for people affected by, or at risk of, viral hepatitis. Our long-term strategy builds on this critical work and broadens our scope to improve liver health outcomes for all Australians.
Untreated viral hepatitis is a contributor to increasing rates of liver disease and liver cancer, one is the fastest growing cause of cancer death in Australia. The condition is poorly understood, and many people do not receive a diagnosis until it is too late. But if diagnosed early, liver disease can be treated and cancer prevented.
LiverWELL is committed to cultural diversity in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer. People affected by viral hepatitis, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people, people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background and people with experience working with those communities are encouraged to apply.
