Learning about hepatitis at Lac Hong Vietnamese School

June 21, 2022

LiverWELL conducted a Youth Education Session for the VCE cohort at Lac Hong Vietnamese School on 4 June.

The session was held by our Community Educator Linda Nguyen at St Albans Secondary College, where students learned about viral hepatitis, with tips on how to avoid contracting hepatitis B and C, as well as options for testing and treatment. There was a focus on general liver health, and the ways we can all work to keep our livers healthy.

The StreetShot Youth Arts Competition was also introduced to the students. The Annual StreetShot Youth Arts Competition is open to all young people under 25 years of age, regardless of whether they are connected to an education or a youth service – you can find out more here.
