First regional online forum engaged

August 11, 2021

On World Hepatitis Day (July 28), we held our first online Regional Forum, which had been planned to take place in Bairnsdale, Gippsland.

The day was a great success with good participation and feedback from all attendees, who included representation from seven different health organisations in Gippsland.

The day featured a Gunai Welcome to Country, the latest epidemiological data presented by Jenn MacLachlan, two lived-experience speakers, a presentation from Dr David Iser, and the latest information and resources around liver health and viral hepatitis B and C presented by LiverWELL staff.

Recordings of most of the sessions have been sent out to all who registered, and follow up resource packages will be sent when restrictions allow.
