LiverWELL Regional Forums – Mildura

The LiverWELL Regional  Forum in Mildura aims to build workers’ understanding of liver health and viral hepatitis, along with local perspectives and referral pathways to better support the community.

This free training workshop will feature expert presenters  and community-based health experts, which will develop understanding on:

  • how to support people in the community with viral hepatitis.
  • the care and referral pathway local to your area.

The Mildura Forum will include:

  • Jennifer MacLachlan Senior Epidemiologist WHO Collaborating Centre for Viral Hepatitis, The Doherty Institute
  • Nafisa YussfSocial Researcher and Project Manager at 
    WHO Collaborating Centre for Viral Hepatitis and The Doherty Institute
  • Dr. Joe SasadeuszInfectious diseases physician who subspecializes in medical virology, and associate professor at The Doherty Institute
  • Dr. Kumar VisvanathanInfectious diseases physician, Clinical Director of Medicine & Emergency Services and Co-Director of the Immunology Research Centre at St. Vincent’s Hospital (Melbourne)

(online zoom link will be sent to those attending virtually after completing registrations)

Sessions will be recorded and will be distributed upon request.

Certificates of attainment and resources will be provided for those who attend the forum.
