LiverWELL’s first education session at the Cambodian Association of Victoria (CAV) was held on 10 May 2022 and was reported to have been successful by our Community Educator Tepy Hoeung who ran the workshop. We were pleased to have seen more than 30 people attend and were also grateful that the President of CVA and our Hep Hero Mr. Youhorn Chea gave a speech during the session.
It was great to see the participants being fully engaged throughout the afternoon and asking important questions regarding viral hepatitis during the Q & A session. We also received requests to hold more of these sessions at the CAV, as the community was interested in better educating themselves about their liver health.

We acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands where we work - the lands of the Woi-Wurrung Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We express our gratitude to them for their continued care and curation of these lands and waters. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
LiverWELL observes and honours the Kulin Nation's intrinsic connection to land, sky and water, and the creator Bunjil. LiverWELL is committed to being led and informed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders on bridging health outcomes for communities and improving liver health.
