Preeti Kararia is our volunteer of the month

February 22, 2021

Preeti has made an enthusiastic contribution to LiverWELL, while working on a number of tasks.

She has been helping the HEPReady workforce team to collate data and write up an evaluation report for our Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) training program.

Overcoming the difficulties of working remotely, Preeti was committed to regularly communicating her progress. Preeti has also suggested new ways to statistically represent our HEPReady data, allowing us to convey our findings more effectively.

We commend Preeti for her commitment to the project, her enthusiasm in learning new concepts and her passion for solving complex problems.

We acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands where we work - the lands of the Woi-Wurrung Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We express our gratitude to them for their continued care and curation of these lands and waters. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.

LiverWELL observes and honours the Kulin Nation's intrinsic connection to land, sky and water, and the creator Bunjil. LiverWELL is committed to being led and informed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders on bridging health outcomes for communities and improving liver health.
