Scholarships Open for the 2025 Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference

January 28, 2025

The VH2025 Committee is thrilled to announce that next year’s Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference will be held in Melbourne, Victoria. This premier event, hosted by ASHM in partnership with key sector collaborators, provides an essential platform for sharing groundbreaking research and advancing best practices in the prevention, management, and elimination of viral hepatitis.

The conference will bring together health professionals, government representatives, and community organizations, playing a crucial role in supporting efforts to eliminate hepatitis B and hepatitis C across Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia-Pacific region, while elevating the voices of communities affected by these conditions.

LiverWell is excited to endorse the conference’s scholarship program. Two major scholarships are now open for applications:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker Scholarships
Supporting the attendance of health workers dedicated to improving outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities impacted by hepatitis.
  • Community and Lived Experience Scholarships
Enabling individuals with lived experience of hepatitis B or hepatitis C to contribute to and learn from this influential event.

These scholarships are designed to ensure diverse and representative voices are heard at VH2025, fostering a collaborative and inclusive approach to addressing viral hepatitis in the region.

Apply today to be part of this impactful conference and join the movement to eliminate hepatitis.
