LiverWELL is a not-for-profit community-based organisation and for over 30 years we have been working to eliminate viral hepatitis in Victoria. Our ambitious new long-term strategy builds on this critical work and broadens our scope to improve liver health outcomes for all Australians. With increasing mortality and morbidity rates, liver cancer is the fastest growing cause of cancer death in Australia. The condition is poorly understood, and many people do not receive a diagnosis until it is too late. But if diagnosed early, liver disease is curable, and cancer can be prevented.
As Communications and Engagement Manager you will play a key role in delivering our strategic outcomes through deeper, broader and meaningful engagement with key stakeholders, as well as elevating the voices of people with lived experience and delivering outstanding user experiences. Reporting to the CEO and supported by the Digital Communications Officer you will be part of a small, passionate team and an integral member of the LiverWELL management team.
As well as your creative communication skills and experience you will bring strong interpersonal leadership and thrive in a dynamic, growing organisational environment. Collaborative and resourceful, you’ll be effective in working with a range of diverse stakeholders to deliver shared goals.
LiverWELL is committed to employing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, persons with lived experience of viral hepatitis and liver disease, and those who come from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Persons from these communities are encouraged to apply.
LiverWELL offers an enjoyable and flexible team working environment in North Melbourne, with flexibility to work remotely, ongoing professional development and excellent conditions including salary packaging and benefits.
