Hepatitis B and Liver Health education with the Filipino Community

The Philippine Association of Geelong had invited LiverWELL’s community educator Alain Palines for an Easter Sunday Picnic Lunch at Portarlington on the 4 April, 2021. While bonding over delicious and healthy Filipino food, members discussed their concerns about hepatitis B and learnt the importance of hepatitis B testing, vaccination and treatment.

LiverWELL’s community educator Alain Palines held a hepatitis B education session in collaboration with The Unified Filipino Elderly Association in Melbourne’s southeast suburb of Clarinda. Members of The Unified Filipino Elderly Association asked many questions about liver health and hepatitis B testing and vaccination.
